February 15 this year will forever be imprinted in the minds and hearts of the 17 participants who participated in the Scrabble Gala 9 competition. This competition was held at Mesa Mall, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. We were accompanied by Ms Catherine and Ms Lau.

We left the school at 6:30a.m. For breakfast, we had fried noodles and Milo while we were on the bus before reaching the venue at 7:45 a.m. Upon arrival, we were immediately whisked off to the registration counters. There, we registered our names and levels of expertise which represented the order we would be playing our rounds.

At around 8.00a.m, we were divided into two main groups; primary and secondary categories in the main hall. Three students participated in the Secondary Advanced Category while 14 students participated in the Secondary Novice Category.

At 12.30p.m., we had our lunch and performed our prayers. After the break, we headed back to the hall for our last two rounds of scrabble. We gave our best shot. As soon as the game ended, we were on our toes waiting anxiously for the results to be announced.

For the Secondary Advanced category, Nur Syuhada bt Izrin was in the 10th place followed by Kreesan a/l Bathmanaban, receiving Consolation Secondary Advanced and Highest Bingo Secondary Advanced. Next, for the Secondary Novice category, Mikael Arief b Mohd Radzian obtained the 3rd place, followed by Dya Amalia bt Rahmat Wibisono in the 10th place. The Consolation Secondary Novice was received by Noor Adalia Jasmine bt Mohd Shiras and in the 12th and 23rd place were Nur Adriana Hyreesha bt Hafisor and Noorman Izmir b Riedzuan respectively.

At 7.00p.m., we had our dinner and then we made our way back. We reached school at 9.30p.m. It was exhausting but we enjoyed ourselves.
