Calling all stars, Talentime is your time to shine!

Do you have what it takes to shine brighter than the rest? Then Talentime is the event for you!

As an institution that has continuously produced talented and all-rounded students, Kolej Yayasan Saad provides many platforms for students to showcase and share their talents.

One of which, Talentime – that allows students to create, practise and perform different types of shows while fostering friendly competition within the houses.

Talentime has proven to have become a highly-awaited event where students give their all in both performing and cheering on their fellow housemates.

The competition consists of three categories: dancing, singing, and an open category. Long and treacherous months were spent preparing for this event, including practices and rehearsals to preparing numerous routines to be performed during the special night. 

The dance category allows the students to perform a variety of styles ranging from traditional dances, contemporary dances to even medleys of dances to the year’s greatest hit songs.

All dances are choreographed and curated by our own students, with costumes designed with the articles of clothing they had on hand.

The battle of the voices, the singing category, showcased our students’ euphonious voices for the audience with vocalists from all three houses giving their all, proving that the training and rehearsals were worthwhile.

Their routines were planned to perfection with live instruments and backup dancers complementing the already wonderful vocalists. As the powerful music filled the space, the hall was lively and everyone truly enjoyed themselves.

Finally, the highly awaited open category- where students were limited only by their imagination. Indeed the toughest out of all the categories, the battle intensified as the audience was full of anticipation for the inventive performances to come.

From acting, to fan dancing and creating their very own band to anything under the sun! The open category truly allows students to create their own spellbinding show.

Talentime is not only an event for the performers. Supporters from each house waste no time in cheering on their fellow housemates, creating their own miniature cheer competition between the houses in the audience.
