With the departure of Naylee Zamri as Editor-In-Chief after a four-month internship, Haris Danial, Saiful Azhar and Tariq Natasmi join the Senior Cemerlang Editorial team to take the online magazine for high achievers to the next level.
Haris Danial
Haris Danial, analyst at JP Morgan, the world-renowned investment bank is now the new Editor-In-Chief. He brings with him vast experience from the world of student activism through his chairmanship of the influential United Kingdom and Eire Council of Malaysian Students (UKEC) that represents 15,000 Malaysian students in the UK and Ireland.
A Masters (MEng) graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, Haris is deeply passionate about writing on national issues ranging from politics, education to public policy. He did his A-level at Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM) after graduating from Kolej Yayasan Saad (KYS) in 2014.
Tariq Natasmi
Tariq Natasmi, is a foundation student in Communications from Taylors College. He is currently the Marketing Head of Kitakan Serumpun, overseeing influencer management, social media content development and project planning. He is a KYSER from Class 2019 who was active in football and athletics.
Saiful Azhar Razin
Saiful Azhar Razin, currently serving as the Vice President of the Student Council of KYUEM, was also the Head Boy of KYS from Class 2019. At school, Saiful was active in debate and was a prize winner of the Sunway Oxbridge Essay Writing Competition. A multi-talented individual, Saiful is also a web designer and savvy in digital marketing.
Gearing up
With the formation of this new Senior Cemerlang Editorial Team, the online magazine is now well positioned to attain greater heights. As the audience base continues to grow rapidly, Cemerlang aims to focus on providing useful and inspirational content for students and young professionals in the areas of education pathways and career development.
