As far as I can tell, representing  a school is not easy but representing a country? Well, that’s something. Here are a  few things that we learnt from the visit of Japanese students to our school.

Japan ,a beautiful country with beautiful scenery and even more beautiful people. It really was surprising to see how 12 students could be so well mannered whilst visiting another school in a different country. Here are the 3 things that we learnt from their visit to Kolej Yayasan Saad:

  1. Curiosity Does Not Kill the Cat but Rather Feeds It

When they first arrived, they were greeted  at the foyer by the school staff. Then, they were  brought to the school orchard to explore and learn about the exotic trees that  are not present in their homeland.Their eyes were as big as saucers and were sparkling with curiosity when they were observing   the landscape. In the midst of curiosity, a lot of questions were asked by the students to their  four accompanying teachers and  our Students Affairs Manager,Mr. Kamarulzaman.Needless to say, we learnt that curiosity is a trait that should be acquired by students from an early age.

  1. Respect Is A Powerful Tool

While they were taken on a quick tour of our school, they never missed the opportunity to greet the students that they encountered along the way .This simple gesture speaks volumes  on the character of the students. Greeting others is a quick way  for us to show  the respect we have towards them and it may change their mood.

 3. Cleanliness Is the Key To Success

You may have heard  of the phrase  “hard work is the key to success”.While this phrase is true and is correct in many circumstances, without cleanliness, your success will be limited. After finishing their tour of the school, the Japanese students headed to the dining hall to get a morning  snack .After  they were finished with eating, they  were quick to clean their tables. They left the dining hall with the tables clean leaving the dining hall staff with  only a little work to clean.

To  summarize, their visit is a spectacular one indeed and it is hoped that more students would pay a visit to our school in the upcoming future
