On the 31 January 2019, thirteen students from Kolej Yayasan Saad participated in the MSSNM Cross Country competition. The event was held at Stadium Hang Jebat in the vicinity.
The event started just when the sun rose. All the participants were anxious for the run as they knew hundreds of participants were present from all around Melaka. When they prepared themselves at the starting line, blood started gushing in their veins as their heart beats faster. They knew that getting a place would be an uphill task but that did not discourage them from performing their utmost best in the event.
As soon as the whistle was blown, all the participants ran with all their might. We pushed ourselves to the limit. The spirit and motivation that kept us alive during the whole event eventually resulted in earning places in the event.

- Adam Rafie – 24th
- Muhammad Nazif Imran – 41th
- Ismail Hamid – 40th
Overall, everyone was truly happy with the results. It was never an easy journey to prepare ourselves to the very day but we managed to get placings. As the saying goes, in life, nothing is impossible; it’s always possible.
